I know it will be well-nigh impossible to generate any discussion on this subject except me and Mathieas yelling at each other, but I do think this Bridge-lane closing thing is fascinating.

Am more interested in this point in the motive - what were they penalizing the mayor of Fort Lee for? There's some evidence Christie's team worked hard to get Democratic mayor endorsements in his re-election bid, but this kind of retaliation was not going to help with that.
