Couple days ago, Michele Boyd (The Guild, other crap) commented on a recent article that was written about the cosplay/geekgirl group she cofounded called Team UnicornFTW. Basically, it was a group of 4 actress/models/Seth Green's wife who made funny videos about 'geek girls' and went to conventions dressed as video game characters (and sold autographs and photos to lonely guys for $50 a pop).
Anyway, Michele's comment was to clarify that Team UnicornFTW (I assume the FTW is necessary lest it seem silly) had informed her that they would be moving on without her.
She latter goes on to comment that there had been 'creative differences' (Did she want to wear the blue costume instead of the red?) which lead to the split
So how does random Internet drama centered on something so silly stimulate the synapses? Well, quite simply the hole thing seems fishy. What kind of drama could you possibly have when your whole purpose is to dress up and have people tell you how awesome you are? Could she have wanted the operation to expand? Maybe take on a more serious role? Fight actual crime rather than pretend Internet crime and offenses against geek girl culture?

Ok, enough is enough. Team Unicorn informed me they'd be moving forward with projects without me back in 2013. They didn't feel they should make any announcement about this decision until ...welll, I'm not entirely sure when. I tried to respect that decision as long as I could but I'm just too tired of seeing these misleading posts with no explanation to fans. It does kind of break my heart to see articles like this that simply pretend I was never a part of the group, but I wish the three girls all the best. I still consider myself a Unicorn at heart, and of COURSE I love all the Unicorn fans, you guys are the best.
