I never really followed CiW. I lurked a little, but it was over before I really got active in the community. However, I hate the idea of an unsolved puzzle (I'm still hoping we'll get an answer to the Publius Enigma, but that's another story). As far as I know, no one ever finished the last cryptogram for CiW. See the thing is, when all that went down, I was a lowly college freshman, who didn't know a hidden markov model from a junction tree. But I've since spent quite a bit of time studying artificial intelligence and I'd be interested in taking a stab at writing a program to solve it (if anyone is interested). The problem is I don't know the rules for these puzzles. I know it's not just one big cryptogram, but I don't know how it breaks down, or what information was already provided. So... if anyone is actually interested in knowing what that goddamed puzzle really said, let me know and maybe we can see if we can make it happen. And if someone has already solved it, like, years ago, then never mind. I'll just go back to hunting Publius...

I do not believe it was ever fully solved. modelmotion and ahcapella claim to still be interested in solving it. the deletion of the lgpedia may make the job a bit harder, though i suspect those guys have copies of the relevant stuff. at least based on this video ahcapella made, there were fewer true cassie fans:

I know the puzzle wasn't fully solved, from what I understand.
